The Shanghai Chase Lego 7682 reviews are consumer opinions and not opinions of this website:

"Everyone has been waiting for the Lego Temple of Doom line. And it's finally here! This set creates the beginning sequence of the movie very well, and with perfect playability.
This set gives three important new minifigs. One is Willie Scott, the terrified damsel. The other is Short Round, the brave and witty Chinese orphan. But the most important is Indy. This set includes the first Indy minifg that isn't clad in the hat, bag, jacket etc.
The cars are very well designed, with many extra features included. The cape on Short Round's car is very good, plus it had a flap to make Indy and Willie fall in. Although Indy won't fit in the seats with them, he still can sit in the back, to shoot the gun. The gangsters' car is very well designed too. The cab in the back is good for any custom Lao Ches out there. The bars on the side make a good grip for them to hold on, and to shoot down the car. The folds over the wheels are good on this car too. This set also includes the Eye of the Peacock Diamond, an important element in the sequence. Willie's head is just like Marion's, with a scared side and a calm side. The Short Round minifg was greatly designed, and it makes the set whole. This is the best way Lego could bring out the Temple of Doom line. It is a very good buy."

This is a repeat of Race for the Stolen Treasure, but I think it is equally, if not just as great. Don't underestimate the gangsters' car; it's a great build. I bought this set to go with the Tempel of Doom set coming out this summer (Don't tell anyone, it's a secret!) Oh, wait whoops... Never mind.

Pros-
Amazingly detailed cars! These far exceed the trucks in the Race for the Stolen Treasure set
5 gorgeous minifigs! Who doesn't want a chinese gangster?
Willie Scott and Short Round have double-printed chests
Wille's crown is great! (Plus, you get an extra one!)
Rear of tan car opens to seat Short Round
We finally get an Indiana Jones that's not in his normal outfit
Indiana has a hat as well as his hairpiece
Fantastic hood ornament on the tan car

Cons-
Black car looks slightly bulky
Hard to fit Indy, Willie, and Shorty in one car (but that's why there's an optional seat for Shorty in the back)
The tan car's hood is not that great, and the windshield is microscopic

Conclusion-
The pros far outweigh the cons, and this is the best Indy set since Temple Escape. The only true flaw is that it's slightly overpriced, but the number of minifigs balances that out. I would recommend this set to anyone, even non-Indy fans who just love Legos.

And yes, look for a Temple of Doom set coming out this summer!"
